GainesView is your free, local resource for everything there is to do in Gainesville. Innovated by Mindtree and powered by The Gainesville Sun, this app lets you instantly view, save and share upcoming events from an expansive, up-to-date directory.

- Find specific events, search for a general term or location, or browse event categories like music, sports & outdoors, food & dining, arts & crafts, community, and more.
- Quickly get the facts: description, photo, date and time, map with address and driving directions, contact info and website all neatly displayed on each event page.
- Let your friends know whats happening by sharing events via text message, email, Twitter and Facebook, or remind yourself with our add to calendar button.
- Keep track of your favorite events by saving them to a special list, visible only to you.
- Add event categories to your interests list to tailor a personalized feed of local events, ordered by whats coming up next.
- Access The Suns entertainment features, including weekly live music listings, film and food reviews, artist interviews and columns from local entertainment insiders.
